Two killed in Phnom Penh house fire The Cambodia Herald
PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Two female factory workers were killed in a house fire on Friday morning in Dangkor district.
Local police said the victims were Thear and Pov, both were 25.
The two were believed to have been asleep in their rented room after returning home from Water Festival celebration when the fire started at around mid night in Toek Thla village in Krang Pongro commune, the police said.
The police said a man, Teang Panha, who was a son of house owner was also injured in the fire.
Hang Sokhom, 61 and his wife Chheng Sereyboth, 52, were the owner of the house.
The cause of the fire has not been known yet, said the police.
